Stick figures of Chloe, Andrew and Henderson with their camper parked in front of Blue Mountain beside the Susquehanna River. Playful Curiosity.

BMW R1200R

Comments: This was the first bike I bought after taking a couple years off when my friend and long time riding partner died in a motorcycle crash.

Riding with a friend for the first time, first time we rode together and one of my early rides on this bike, he started to slow down and pulled into a random driveway. Turns out the bolts on his recent repair came undone and his drive shaft was no longer connected.

I went to move my bike off the guy's driveway which meant rolling over a water runoff tar mound, uphill, and onto dirt/gravel. Out of practice I hit it at an angle (straight over obstacles, dummy), stalled the bike and went down.

We were both a little red that day but we still ride together. Bonding.
